Citibank bank and Shell is joining forces and will be introducing their new Credit Card, the Shell Citibank Credit Card. With this card, you can save money on your fuel purchases at any Shell Stations up to 10%. This Double Rebate offer only applies if you had apply for the Shell Citibank Credit Card before 13 January 2008. The Double Rebates only valid within the first 60 days from your cards issuance.

There is two way that you can apply for the Shell Citibank Credit Card, that is the “Call Me Application” and “Self Service Application”. For those who apply using the “Call Me Application”, you will get Free Reebok Backpack and 1 year fee waiver. As for the “Self Service Application”, there will be a RM50 rebate on your next Shell purchases.

There is a calculator that you can use to find out how much you will be saving with the Shell Citibank Credit Card. Select the type of credit card that you are using, fill in your Carried Forward Balance and your Monthly Fuel Spending. I use the calculator with my Carried Forward Balance of RM6000 and Monthly Fuel Spending of RM180, which will give me an annual savings of RM64.80.

What I like best is their next offer where a Shell Citibank Card member can buy a HP Compaq Presario Notebook worth RM1,999 for only RM799! You have taken many photos and posted it on your blog. How about making some money out of it? There is this new service, PicsPay which started this year where they are paying you whenever someone views your photos.

All you need to do is just to upload your photos, get the corresponding link and paste it on to your blog. Whenever anyone that clicks to view your photo, you will earn credits which can be converted to cash later. You can post your photos anywhere like your blog or even at forums. Right now, the current conversion rate is at 5000 to $1. This means for every 5000 views, you will earn $1.00. The minimum payout is at $30. I don’t know anyone in particular that has made any cash out yet.

Another thing to note is that you can upload unlimited number of photos and make money out from it. Other free image hosting services doesn’t give you any profit at all. I have just added a new plugin that is the WordPress WordCount plugin. This plugin is very useful for those who are writing reviews and wish to know how much words he/she has written. You need to download and then uploaded the plugin to your Wordpress plugin folder ( wp-content/plugins/ ). After that, activate the plugin.

To calculate the words in your post, just click on “Calculate Words” and it will display the number of words. This plugin works with the visual editor on or off. One thing that I like about this WordCount plugin is that I do not need to save my post first. Other plugins that I tried either need me to save my post or publish it first. By the way, this plugin works right up to WordPress version 2.3.1

I have been approved to be a TTZ Media Affiliate marketer for quite a while now. I applied to be a affiliate since last month but haven’t got to place the ads yet. TTZ Media is another way where website or blogger owner can earn income through Pay-Per-Click earnings.

TTZ Media will display relevant ads on your website through the ads code. They have this very intuitive ad code generation system as well as a tracking system. According to TTZ Media, they have one of the most flexible ads on the web. I somehow don’t find it quite flexible as it says it is.

There are some requirements that need to be follow though before you can apply to be and affiliate.

1. Your own domain name. No free hosted sites allowed.
2. Site must be English only.
3. High quality content.
4. Updated frequently.

Among the categories that they will have ads display on are TV & Video, Video Games, Cameras & Camcorders, Computer Components, Keyboard/Mice, Computer Accessories. Though it isn’t much, I hope they will have more as time goes by.

I’m still wondering how much John Chow is involve in TTZ Media. The email I received from TTZ Media informing me that my account has been approved is also CC to ttz at johnchow.com. If it pays me well, I don’t really care who runs it.

I have tested it and place it on the side bar as you can see there. So far there isn’t much bugs except for one thing, the password login. It seems I can change to a very long password but when I try to log on with my new password, it informs me that my email and password doesn’t match. There seems to be a limit set on the number of characters on the log in page. Hope they will change it soon. I’m just using a simple password for now. Now go try and hack my TTZ Media account.

A couple days back, BlogRush released their “Phase 2″. It is now active and can be seen on your dashboard now. There are new statistical information which they have added. Now you can see which post has been highly click by others from the BlogRush widget. On the category side, there are now more specific categories instead of just having a couple main category. You can edit your blog category under “My Blogs”. Besides that, if your sidebar is slim, you can opt for the slimmer BlogRush widget as well. I prefer the wider widget as I can see the blog post title much better. What do you think of the new BlogRush Phase 2. Has it been worth for all the wait?

Have you seen your PayPal account lately? I’m sure most of us know that PayPal has a new layout. This new layout is quite impressive. With the release of this new design layout, they are no longer in its beta stages. All their pages loads up much quickly than it was previously. Other new features which was released earlier was the ability to make withdrawal through credit and debit cards.

Many countries which were unable to make withdrawal from PayPal is now very pleased with their move. I still haven’t tested their debit card yet and still reconsidering the fees in overall. Each withdrawal to the credit or debit card is limited to an amount of $500. If I were to withdraw $1,500 I have to pay fees accumulating up to $15. For bank withdrawals, there will be no charges from PayPal at all. Well, it all up to each individual. They have laid out the options for us and only we can decide how we want to withdraw our money.
